| Leitrim is a recent addition to Ottawa’s list of rapidly growing new home developments. It is located south of Leitrim Road and west of Bank Street, in the rural south of the Ottawa area. The neighbourhood is planned to expand significantly over the next few years, with hopes to almost join the large Riverside South residential development that already exists. OC Transpo bus route has been established in the area, and the area will be served by the upcoming extension of the O-Train. Few landmarks and amenities already exist; mainly the intelligence gathering station CFS Leitrim, and the Capital Golf Centre and Kemp Park.
